Just a short ride over to Jamestown and back on the 1300 to burn some cobwebs out of the system after the bike being off road for three months.
Round trip 92 km over two hours which included a fuel stop before I left town and another stop off in the Foodland supermarket.. Originally went over for the take-a-way but the new owners are still renovating.
The TomTom Rider 450 power supply is switchable with the key and the trip log gave me an actual riding time of 1 hour 24 minutes.
I also noticed that the Rider 450 showed the speedo error at about 7 K/h less than at the 110 k/h indicated.

Alans1100, that speedo error is about right. At 110 km/h on my GPS, the ST1300 speedo was showing about 117-118km/h
Glad your test ride went well, and I guess we'll see the rejuvinated and refarkled ST1300 at Kadina. :popcorn

Roughly same speedo error on my ST1300.

I just do 10km above the indicated speed ++
-
Before I left I checked the tyre pressures.
Forgot about the low 2 amp fuse on the 12 volt socket and blew the fuse when I turned the 12 volt air compressor on so I have to buy another fuse. Hopefully a 10 amp should be ok since compressor is rated under 10 amps.
Had to get the power (20 amp dual socket) from the 1100 for the compressor.

I add 10% and drop 1.

Mine was very close to 10% out across the readings down to 50 km/h and then it got more accurate. At 35km/h it was spot on.

Just to add. My 1100 Ex pol was/is about 1 k out at 110. Still got pinged :law as it gets away too too easy. Solution bought a K1200 with cruise. That will fix the problem? Has too :wht11

Like Stroppy said at Harrow, Honda are making it easier for people to defect as they are no longer bringing in newer models.

Not so much defecting, but more suitable for the purpose. 1100 great bike, looked at putting the cruise on it but would not increase its value. Not a big worry but, then looked at going into a later bike with what is required. Found a 2010 ST1300 in black in Bris for $8750 all good only 45K and all the fruit. Nice but, another issue was the weight of the bike has always been a bugbear of mine so, look elsewhere. Did that and found the BMW. 50kg less and with only 50k on the clock. 1 owner and being a police rider at that, it's been well looked after and has all the fruit. Money was right, so I thought yep time to move on. Take del next Friday. Hard decision but necessary. :wht11

New models are coming out but not what most in this forum like.

Are you referring to that plug-ugly bagger rubbish without cruise, heated grips or electric windscreen, but a great engine?
