Hi Pete,

Your sense of humor still shines through as well and that makes reading the updates easier.

When my Mum's straight hair grew back very curly.

All the best with the treatment.

It is my intention to move it about 300km on a day during the weeks that I'm feeling good, so it should be OK. :grin
In all of this I figure that if my hair is falling out and I'm feeling crook, the chemo is also busy killing cancer cells,

and I have the perfect excuse to rest up and watch the poms get flogged in Perth.

I had my third round of chemo last Wednesday, so I'm about half way through the series. Feeling fatigued and crook most of the time is wearing me down a bit, but it's good to be making progress through the treatment, and I'm doing stuff on my good days and resting when I need to. No further hair loss yet, but it's all a bit thin. :thumb

Well, I'm over half way through my treatment and seem to be coping OK. The side effects have been confined to some hair thinning so I've gone to a number 1 cut, tiredness, and an upset tummy from time to time, and a bit of "extra special" wind early in the cycle. I've put on a couple of extra kilos, which is probably some fluid retention. Overall, it hasn't been as bad as I expected, and here's a recent photo.

As the photo suggests, "Wind" vs "Follow Through" is a delicate balance. :crackup

I think you're over-doing the eye make-up. Otherwise the side-effects are hardly noticeable.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
