Hi All,
Does anyone know how to reset/zero the st1300's tacho & speedo? Ive just pulled mine to bits and had to pull both needles off to get to the main board to replace the 7 segment display however now when the bike is off both needles are sitting at 20kms and 1000rpm. Im at a loss?

You will have to remove the needles again, and with the gauges in their operating position very carefully refit and press on gently.
I have done very much the same on pressure gauges, its very fiddly work.

Awesome. After some thought I realised if I take the plastic screen off the front and turn the bike to the on position it moves the needles up by 20 so I left the bike on while I quickly popped the needles back on and now presto! It's fixed

What Brock said. I've had to do it hundreds of times on Pressure gauges when I was calibrating them.
Be gentle, and gently push them on part way, let go, check it is still lined up, press a bit more, let go again, etc until it is all the way on.
That way, if it has moved, you don;t have to pull hard to get it off again.

Pressure gauges when I was calibrating

Did you ever have some one ask you to mark 3725PSI on a 10000 PSI (1%tolerance) Gauge.. They dont/wont understand that what they want wont be accurate possibly.. They had to read a pressure with +/- 25PSI...
Didnt like it when I said the fix was to get a 10000PSI digital gauge with a much tighter tolerance.

What an odd request.
I loved Digital Pressure Transducers and programmable digital readouts. Especially ones where you could calibrate out the non-linearity of the transducer.
APL had a nice little program for Dead Weight Testers to compensate for local gravity.
