Broke my Glasses last night applied a temporary fix. That was as temporary as it gets. Have to to see optometrist early arvo .

Got this message a bit late, had already lined-up a few frothies for you on the bar, they were gunna get flat and warm so I drank 'em.

Lesson for Nigel, try a Spec Savers (or similar) 2 for 1 price offer, you'll end up with three or four spare pair of prescription specs, I leave one pair in the side pannier with some tools, yeah the prescription is a bit old, but good enough for an emergency.

Thanks to JD and Russ for posting the pics.

And thanks to JD & Vera, Neil & Val, Garry & Chris, Rex & Debbie, Russ & Sue, Luke, Martin and Rob for their company and sharing the day with Helen and me.

Also thanks to the Management and Staff at the Reefton for their service, great food (at reasonable $$ too) and cool drinks.

Some questions asked and interest expressed in 13 February 2021 RTE and overnighter (for some) and the Bruthen Bullant Brewery.  I'll post details a little later in another thread, and as a booking has been confirmed, save the date.

Finally (for now), did anyone notice that the Warburton Hotel is in Wesburn (not Warburton), and the Reefton Hotel is in McMahons Creek (not Reefton)?

Yep I knew that as they were both regular stomping grounds of mine and would have loved to bether today and then continued on to Woods point to catch up with family.

Haven't been on the Woods Point Road beyond the Reefton Spur turn-off for many years, last time in pretty quickly turned into an unpleasant gravel road, for a road bike.

Woods Point - I heard a rumour that the pub had closed, if true that would be devastating to the community.

And then further up the road, Kevington - rumours that the pub has closed have been confirmed.

Back to Woods Point - is it the only town in Victoria that does not have a sealed road leading to or from the town?  Well, apart from Gaffneys Creek and A1 Mine Settlement (which are just up the road), but I'm not sure that you could really call them towns.

Is it even a town?   Neither Google aerial or streetview pics show much, even the streetview pic driver turned around before he / she got there.
