Just purchased a #4 cylinder lead to replace as I was experiencing ignition break down at higher revs. Changed the plugs and the lead pulled out of its cap. Funny thing is that the new lead came as a bare wire with the coil dust cover, so I have to strip the wire and re-fit the plug cap connector. Shouldn't be a problem, just expected a complete lead to arrive. $24.50 Inc. postage.

I reckon you wuz robbed! There has never been a bare wire plug lead except maybe in a Mad Max movie. We're not talking 12 volts here- a bare wire would evoke a spark lots of places before reaching the plug. :eek
I did observe the Freudian slip regarding cans and bars. Surprised red wine didn't get a look in. :p :rofl
