Title: Engine parts wanted
Post by: Robert Knight on September 13, 2021, 07:15:38 PM
Hi All, I am in need of some Exhaust manifold nuts(the long brass ones) for an St1100,I need at least 4 and also need to know if there are supposed to be any spacers on the studs,or do the nuts just do up straight onto the plates?I am also still looking for a reasonably priced lefthand rear muffler for same bike, and a rhs pocket compartment lid if anyone has a spare one?

The nuts as I recall, are steel. They are cheap enough to just buy them from Honda though not sure if there are stock available. No washer indicated. If your bike has brass nuts, then I would suggest some one has replaced them in the past.

Looks like they are the same as on the 1300. See item 17 here:- https://bluecitymotorcycles.com.au/oem/honda/search-parts?brand=honda&year=2004&model=2475&assembly=19574. If you have trouble getting some I will have some on an old motor but need to know very quickly if you want them before about a month.
Where are you?

It seems thay are a common use item. used on about 26 bikes so of course no body carries them as they never break...
