Title: Adhesive types for plastics

Hi all. I need to repair some bodywork and other plastics and have tried araldite & locktite plastics superglue with no success. Any suggestions please ? Thanks

JB-Weld is pretty good.  You can get it from Jaycar.

Our own "John g" does excellent plastic bodywork and spraypaint repairs, but he's in Port Elliot in SA.     He fixed "Shillas" ST1300 bodywork after he hit a roo, which smashed his side panel into numerous bits.

Ok thank you. It’s looks like a similar system to loctite but I’ll give it a crack 👍

Failing that, a good plastic welder should be able to help.

  Sorry for a late reply,I only just saw the post..The. Best adhesive is Fusor 153.it should be available from most crash supplies ,if not give me a pm and I'll get you some. o:)
