Title: MCL Highway Pegs and covers
Post by: Gnomad42 on December 05, 2021, 02:21:52 PM
Hi OzStocers,
I've bought a ST1300 and it came with MCL highway pegs, but at 5'6" they were useless to me, so I'm putting them up here for sale.

$100 pick up in Acacia Ridge Brisbane.

These should sell very easily, and I'm surprised that they are still here......   :grin

Gnomad, I'm interested but curious. Why were they useless to you at 5'6"? I am 5'4".
regards
Ruben

I'm just not comfortable stretched out to reach them.
It messes with my rider geometry - I feel off-balance, like when I ride my partner's cruiser.
Normally I like to have a little weight on my feet & to grip a bit with my knees, using the pegs all the weight rolls back onto my bum and I have to hold my legs out to reach the pegs.

I look forward to not breaking this set !

I know the feeling.  If they're extended and you drop the bike it's "Bye bye footrest!".
