Event Information:

The Pitstop Cafe on Mt Mee is owned by former motorcycle speedway racer John Alexander and wife Kim, and is managed by motorcycle enthusiast Michelle Sadlier.
The cafe is situated on one of the Brisbane hinterland’s most famous motorcycle roads, the Mount Mee Road which snakes up and over the range.

It is poised on the edge of a cliff looking south across Mt Pleasant Valley to Brisbane and on a clear day you can see all the way to the sand dunes of Moreton and North Stradbroke islands.
Inside there are motorcycle races on the TV and motorcycle and car racing paraphernalia everywhere collected over the years by John.

We've got a 30th for a friend's baby girl we've known all her life at 1:00 pm.

So we won't be able to make it.

We are taking STrudel for a long run up north. We will be in Rocky that weekend, then heading up as far as Cairns. Fingers crossed a good couple of weeks away.

All 3 of us have come down with Covid, so none of us are going anywhere.

Shonee is on day 6, I'm on day 4, and our son on day 3.

That was a great day out. In the end we had Shiney & Carrol, NiftyNev19, BM Brian and myself turn up to have an excellent feed and a 3 hour chin-wag.  :beer :thumbs

I really liked it. You could spend hours just looking over everything they have stuck to the walls and ceilings, and the burgers are really good (and huge).  :thumbs

It was good to catch up with everyone and enjoy the view and a great big tasty Burger. Luckily, no heavy rain. The roads were pretty dry for the most part. Looking forward to the next RTE at Esk Bakery. Hopefully, I should be able to make it. Cheers!   :blu13left

It was a little foggy when we arrived but it cleared up nicely and all said and done it was a good day out :grin
