But who would see our OzSTOC Jocks ??? Gives a whole new meaning to Overnight RTE :spank
Oooops......my bad !!!
Just re- read the post
:nahnah

Bingo !
-
Probably cost too much finding the material to stitch the logo on your G strings anyway :fp :eek >:() :o :grin :grin
-
I've got a thermal beanie and it is great when it gets cold. I like to be able to roll it up or down around my ears - I think a badge would make that difficult.
-
OzSTOC emboided sheepskin seat covers would look cool. Logo stitched at one of the corners would set the bike off. (i.e. Look spoofy)
(I was getting to the stage of suggesting Logoed whips 'n chains, the way the conversation was going, but the General's probably would have accepted another demand I go to the corner again, so I thought of this refined idea instead.)
-
:wht11 py
and the next thing would be branding irons on bare rumps :butt :butt :butt :cuss :cuss :cuss :rofl :rofl

Just get it Tattooed on your Arse Arm

An OzSToc Beanie sounds great :thumb I'll take one :hatwave
-
I'd be in for a beanie, my old Bell one from 1977 is getting a little faded. Try for a double layer one for those of us with less padding. :crackup
:bl11
-
Count me in too, I'd like something to keep the head warm!!!

For you Tony, that would be a Balaclava.... :rofl :Whipped
-
Cant argue with that :grin :fp

What about OzSTOC Motorcycle Apparel ... Like jacket and pants..... We could all be shareholders..
-
So how cold is it getting down there??
Saw a guy in a jumper today..... I thought to myself.. He must be from up north,......
-
Top of 16 here today. overcast and wind chill makes it feel like 12 degrees :-[
:slvr13
-
-1c overnight, 14 or so during the day. So of course going for a ride tomorrow to Hill End for a RTE where it is even colder...
-
It's 4c here at the moment with the wind at 30 kph from the WSW.......so that makes it F-F-F-Floppin cool !!
:beer
-
A beanie would b gr8. Use them all the time to warm my nude nut.
A suggestion tho: incorporate a nylon stocking so that we can get away with that occasional robbery that we might suddenly need to pull off ... Or that bowser theft that protests against fuel costs ... Call it the "OZstocking".
After a while we will get banned status and will only be allowed to meet in secret - excitemental! :butt :nahnah
-
I have charged up the heated vest, so should be quite ok :0
-
It's 12.2 in Bris at present. Electric blanket on low tonight me thinks. First for the year.
Spent the arvo at the truck show. Given a show bag by a doey eyed young lassie at the door. One of the contents is a beanie!!
Otherwise the place was full of useful transport gadgetry, and lot's of trucks of all makes and sizes. Technology in the industry marches on, but the one common theme is the interior of all the trucks are grey plastic. The only break to it is the glass in the gauges and the windscreen. Talk about bare and boring.
The look thru the helmet screen on an RTE into a desert is more interesting.
Speaking of which....?? Winter nights in outback Qld is spectacular. The dew brings down the dust and the starlight is awesome. just a thought.
-
24 degrees in Townsville tonight.....brr chilly...
-
10 degrees on the way home from Brisbane this morning
-
Anything below 9 and i put on the heated seat and grips
-
-1 overnight here, up to a balmy 3.1 at the moment, so time to go for a RTE in Hill End
-
I'm in for a beanie.

Will that be with or without a rooster??? :p

With or without mate, I'm flex. Roosters look good on anything, especially a chook.

Hi All, Beanies are in the latest BCF catalogue for $11.24 for club members.
Item No. Explore 360 Fisho Beanie - Unisex, Black, OSFM
All you would have to is sew a ozstoc patch onto it.

I am already getting quotes to get the beanies made, with our logo already stitched in them, our current patch is to big to put on a beanie it would look like a beacon in the middle of your forehead.... :crackup

All the better to be seen.

Would work if its a really short beanie.....however if it needs to be folded up and over like most ppl need to wear a beanie, you won't see the logo's......may need to put logo's upside down inside the beanie ??
Just sayin'

Hi Streak, This is fantastic.
When do I order and how much.

Streak, looks good to me. When can we order?
:bl11

Damn those OzSTOC models are getting worse and worse..... Where did all the pretty ones go??
Looks good streak, not to thick a wool. Nice quality wool knit. There looks like there's a little bit of room to fold up the front a bit. I'd be happy to wear one of those. In fact I can feel a trip south coming on so I can wear one.....
Next on the list is an OzSTOC Scarf... :thumb
-
Sorry, on a serious note, just thinking Streak, what about an OzSTOC key ring?? I like the rubber kind that doesn't leave any marks. I've currently got a Honda key ring which I like but I'd change over to an OzSTOC key ring. You could even have a if found return to address on the back and use a centralised address like maybe your shop or something...
The link below is just an example of the type I mean and not a recommendation of the company to use. The coloured 3D ones.

Like what your thinking Sabie. :thumb

Key ring sounds good to me. :thumb

I start off with one of each

As demonstrated on the very outdated mannequin, if you turn the edge up so you don't look like a teapot with a nose instead of a spout, then you'll cover the Logo and the Motto.
So both have to be either upside down inside the beanie or above a 1" turnup.
But yeah- I'd put my hand up for one. Without thatch on the top, I lose a lot of body heat out of my solar panel when it's cloudy.
-

Say the what now...... :well
Beanies have been ordered, will be here first week of June.

Good thinking 99, will look into that, will get the winter gear all said and done, and look at key rings after that :thumb

Well done that Man ( and the behind the scenes support crew ) :clap :clap :grin
May I suggest you use your sister as the model next time - As she would make a very fine model :clap :thumbsup :-++ :rofl
Cheers

You'll find universal agreement on that one.
Damn fine Bike Forum Founder/ Moderator/ Quartermaster/ Postman/ ST Owner/ Article Writer/ All Round Nice Guy/ Dad/ Wannabe Groom.
But leave the modelling out of your CV skill-set. :p
-
Biggles and I may not always agree. But on this we are one voice.... :rofl
-
:grin
-
Put me down for one also.
Streak can't wear one.................................. we wont know who he is if he does, unless Teela puts a big splodge of white paint on the front. :p
-
I'll have one too. :hatwave :grin
-
How about some sensible items, like an OZSTOC neck warmer, good for all states.
:wht11
-
OzStoc beanie looks good.. I might even get to wear it a couple of times a year. It could come in handy on my planned ride across Canada in 2015.
-
Don't wear beanies here, because if its that cold outside that you need a beanie, I'm staying in here beside my toasty warm roaring fire.
:grin
-
As I said at the beginning...I want one!!!
Following the not too nice effects of the chemo my hair is now hitting the pavement at quite a rate, so a warm beanie will be very much appreciated.
Cheers gents (and ladies)

Hi Whizz, great to hear that you are up and about and desiring to get a beanie. Keep on getting over this challenge. Blessings. Tony.

Yes, people without hair like myself become a bit of a beenie connoisseur... but each head is different...
This is What I wear and is my current favorite...

I also have one like this, which is also great, reminds me of the people who work on the docks...

But really anything that isn't to tall or floppy
-
How much do you pay your minder in the beanie behind you ? :grin
:slvr13
-
He was suppose to be incognito *wonders off to speak to my head of security*
-
And why is that woman taking a photo of you? Make sure Security get that camera from her!!
-
And the woman with brown hair on the left has a listening device poking out of her hair :eek - Be very very careful - I think they are onto you :grin
:slvr13
-
GAH! *runs to safe room, pushing nannas and children out of the way*
-
I say chaps. The scarf idea is not such a bad thing. Very bomber crew. Very practical, too.
The neck is always a bit vulnerable and for us hot bods it would be easier to loosen the scarf when we stop, instead of peeling off layers.
Can you not see it on you at Ebor in July - wandering across the pub with scotch in each hand (balanced diet :grin) with a scarf draped around the neck with our logo on one end? 8)
You'd be the envy of all on two wheels. (saying the girls would go bonkers is a tad over the top) :grin :eek
Diesel, perhaps you could stand in front of a mirror and view yourgoodselfsir 'OzStoced' in all this regalia, and give us a critique on the matter. :popcorn
-
A scarf..... at Ebor ??......on a bloke in a pub !!!!
If your not wearing a flannel and bludstone boots your a target for ridicule of mammoth proportions from the locals
:rofl :rofl :rofl
But go for it......will take the heat of Me in my Safari Suit. :nahnah
Cheers

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Red Beret (More secretive than the Green Berets) Tony. I know I'm in danger even talking about them. Stay safe Marcus.
As for the Beanie & Keyring ideas I think they are excellent :thumbs and would definitely be up for one each.
-
I want a scarf...
Seriously though I've been stealing my wife's for the cold days...
-
The DriRider neck warmer is brilliant. :thumb
-
OK - Time to order your OzSToc beanie so you get it in time for the colder winter RTE's and drinking sessions - especially if your of the chrome dome persuasion :whistle |-i :grin. A damn good product for the price so get two and one for your pillion while your at it :clap :hatwave
-
So fellow OzSTOC beanie brothers......what's the critique on the current beanie from members, give some feedback ?? Are we on a winner ??
Why does it work or not work........
:popcorn
-
:dred11 :dred11 :dred11
:like I've been wearing my OzSTOC beanie for a while now and its keeping my head warm, I even wear it under my helmet, and it stops my lid moving round.I recommend it to all OzSTOCers
I give it ++ ++ ++ ++ ++
-
Its a great warm beanie - It beats those massive beanies which are nearly balaclavas where you have to have a rolled up section at the bottom. It fits into a pocket easily if you need to take it off for a while. The Ozstoc logo on the front gets people asking about the club every time :like
-
A wee bit of an update on the OzSTOC Beanie......you may not know but we changed suppliers of Beanies last year and yep, it did come at a price increase :H
I'm generally am not a Beanie person.....but the new fleece and wool beanie is AWESOME !!
Been walking the dog early mornings and very late arvo's and into the night in temps down to -6 and it is marvellous...... as mentioned above its not a bulky beanie and being a compo of material the fleece keeps in the warmth but the wool section allows it to breath.....so no sweating or itchy head.
I'm a convert.... :runyay
Check them out in the OzSTOc shop.....or with your state RTE coordinators at your next RTE.

Can I grab a beanie at Gulargumbone please?

I have at least one of the older ones in my stockpile of Ozstoc gear
