The rubber key ring accessory has been mentioned somewhere before so I thought I would bring it to this thread. I currently have a Road Rider one which I would be happy to shelve for an OzSTOC one.

I have been pricing these up actually, want to get a decent price for around 50 at a time if we can, looking for something like the American ST-Owners one that i have my bike keys on:

Streak - They are a pain in the butt on the 1300's when you have a riser fitted. It tends too catch when you want to turn the key, I suppose because I also have the topbox key on the ring and disc lock key. My honda dealer had put one on, but I had to take it off to give me more room.

That's prettyy obvious Sabie  - But not fair on STreak to have him buy a heap thinking we will buy them up, only to find out later there is an issue with having a large key ring like this. :-[

This thread was created to suggest ridiculous and funny merchandise, some may have mistaken it for serious suggestions but that's ok.

They were suggested in another thread some ago and was rekindled in this thread. I think a lot of people like them because they're soft and don't mark the bike. I've got a Honda one I use with the risers and yes it can be a bit fiddely but better than just a key for me cause I'd loose em for sure.

Again, personal choice... But glad to know you realise I was just chucking sh@t at ya.

Cheers

Well I want one of the key rings!!!!!!! They look cool!!!!!!! Please let me know when and how much!!!!

 :think1

You can do what I used to do, that is have two key rings joined together by a joint clip, one key ring had just the big ignition key on it, and the other had the rest of the keys, plus my house key, office keys etc. To run the bike I simply undid the bike key and inserted it in the keyhole. When I got wherever I was going and stopped the bike I turned off the ignition, pulled out the key and connected it onto all the other keys. Problem solved!!

Smaller OZSTOC sticker, say like FarRiders etc, I would be more than happy too/to (Biggles correct me please) have one on both my bikes and both my cars and one on the trailer, 5 sold already.  May put a sticker on the work trucks.

Come on Streak, "make them and they will be sold" .   :thumbs

lol no honeymoon for us, we are both flat at work, i have been back at work since Tuesday morning 7.30am!

and stickers is all about how many you buy, small lots cost a small fortune, the first lot of stickers where done pro bono by Tassie Kev (still a big thumbs to him for the generosity) I had to buy 500 of the big ones last time to get them at a price worth purchasing, and we have to get them UV coated, and make sure of the type of glue they are using so they stay on bla bla bla  :rofl :rofl

Been asking for an OzSTOC key ring for years, good luck with an OzSTOC Puck Stand...

We have looked at a few keyring options in the past and even had a couple of different protypes made and tested.....but just to many faults or failings for our liking......minimum order to purchase is another issue that haunts a relatively small club....committing limited funds at $4.50 ea to purchase a minimum order of 250 custom made keyrings at $1260.00 to "hopefully" sell overtime is just beyond our clubs limited resources.

Keyrings are not off the table at all, just out of grasp at the moment......but who knows in the future what we may be able to pull out of our OzSTOC cap  ;-*

Just tie string on it. Useful tool even if it hard to place it accurately

I was given a piece of Aluminium tread plate square about 3" across from a lady who could no longer ride with a piece of nylon string to attach to the handle bar. Only used it once but what a great idea.

I think most ex-Police bikes have a larger foot plate welded to sidestands than the Public version of the bikes . . I know my ST1100 has . .

Mine is like standard, but it was an NRMA police spec bike. If you park close enough to another bike or car it stops it falling over too far  ;-*

Pannier stickers with Ozstoc logo and the member's forum name so we know who we're overtaking or nodding to.
