New Icelandic Volcano at Fagradalsfjall
« on: April 07, 2021, 01:58:04 PM »
Has anyone else been watching the new fissure volcano in the Geldinggadalir and meradalir valeeys of near Fagradalsfjall?

It started erupting n the 19th March 2021 after over 50,000 earthquakes since early Feb 2021.

Yesterday at Midday UTC, a 2nd and 3rd fissure opened up about 1 km for the first.

Just after midnight UTC another fissure opened up between the 1st and 2nd and 3rd fissures.

These are the live links I am watching.

And an update from mbl.is with a live feed in it, which shows all of the lava field sources now.
