Ignition lead install
« on: July 12, 2021, 10:04:42 AM »
Just purchased a #4 cylinder lead to replace as I was experiencing ignition break down at higher revs. Changed the plugs and the lead pulled out of its cap. Funny thing is that the new lead came as a bare wire with the coil dust cover, so I have to strip the wire and re-fit the plug cap connector. Shouldn't be a problem, just expected a complete lead to arrive. $24.50 Inc. postage.

I reckon you wuz robbed!  There has never been a bare wire plug lead except maybe in a Mad Max movie.  We're not talking 12 volts here- a bare wire would evoke a spark lots of places before reaching the plug.    :eek

I did observe the Freudian slip regarding cans and bars.  Surprised red wine didn't get a look in.   :p    :rofl
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
