I doubt I can compete for hottest temp over here. But wait until next winter and I will give the coldest a good shot. I have ridden in the past with snow pilling up on the tank and climbing up my chest, the road conditions were icy so the shield was no use at all, and that was only going to work. Got to love those heated grips and jacket.

Just came back from a week in Alice Springs. Bloody middle of Australia, middle of the desert and it was minus 2 Celsius at night and the week before it was minus 4 Celsius at night. And "SNOW" the last time it rained their was January and the temps were up their at times around 45 Celsius

Wow, that's pretty bloody cold for Brissie :eek. In fact it's as cold as we've had here at Nubeena so far this winter :).

I'm with you mate.  It just ain't natural for it to be so cold here in Brissie.  I moved here from PNG because I couldn't survive any further south after 22 years in the tropics, but apparently I might as well go live in Tassie as far as temps are concerned.

Weather like this is just another reason I love my ST1300 :blu13
Just so much protection from the elements (with all the fairings and windshield, not to mention any farkles people add… I’ll get them all one day :wink1)

But I still wish it would just bloody warm up already :cuss

Just waiting for mine to arrive.  Nearly finished the new sub-panel to hold the switch and a couple of other items.
Warmers might arrive in time for Summer.

Townsville 8 am Monday the 13th August 2012.  It may not be as cold as you blokes in the south, but this is TOWNSVILLE.... We grab for our coats and scarfs when the Temp drops below 30 Degrees.

DId I mention that this was in Townsville........... Someone down south must have left the fridge door open.

How about 3 degrees at Yulara in June this year.    Note the time of 7.36am....   none of this 6.00am middle of the night stuff.   The temp acutally dropped to 2 degrees at 8.00am, but there was no way that I was going to stop and take my hands off the heated grips to get a photo.

Since this is about PICS of your dash showing the coldest temp and NOT 'ripping yarns' - looks like I've got the prize......

Took this pic as we left Silverton NSW for Broken Hill, then back through Wilcannia, Cobar, Nygan, and on to Qld.....

Those big S.A. softies still asleep back at the Cabin (PhilSTer, Steve and Aaron) wouldn't have known any of this as Growly found the remote and turned the heater up for them as we left!       :rofl

My heated grips worked every day that it was 6-9* C - but chose ONE DAY to stop working - you guessed it!!!         :cuss

Reckon you can beat 0* C!!!!!??? Go Ahead!       :wink1

Cheers, Diesel

I can beat it with -2oC out near Warwick a month back, but it was too blary cold to get off the bike and try to operate a camera, so you've won it for now.
Until the Canberra denizen gets his camera out next Winter and lowers the bar.   :eek
