Log In Problem
« on: January 29, 2013, 07:57:48 AM »
I've had this problem for ages, but have never got around to trying to resolve it.

I log in "forever" in the top left corner with Username and Password.
The Password never works, and I am taken to a pop up window in the middle of the screen, where I retype the password and I can then gain entry to the site.
Sometimes when I turn the PC on, I'm already logged in, and other times I need to go through the above procedure.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium and Internet Explorer as my browser.
Any ideas???

Switch to Google Chrome.  It's better in most ways to IE.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I'd say the cached user/pwd may be wrong. Goto clear the history of the Internet Explorer (IE), there is a section that allows you to clear the cached passwords as well. Also a toolbar may be interferring, check what you have running by Right clicking on the menu at the top, seeing what toolbar names are there with "ticks".
