Hydrogen Powered Vehicles
« on: November 30, 2013, 07:43:37 PM »
In the last few days I've seen a couple of items on what looks like the next stage for the humble car. Basically both cars use hydrogen as the fuel source which is then converted to electricity to drive the car.

There maybe others looking into this but both Honda and Toyota seem to have cars ready to go on the road in the next year or two.

The Honda seems to be a limited run of 200 vehicles to be leased for three years mainly in California

Impressive!  Technology moves quickly, so we'll be seeing these before too long I suspect.

Just need to equip the hydrogen refuelling outlets.  Not too different to autogas, I suppose.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
