Well after some advice from ST2UP, ABE, and then TJ supplying me with some excellent templates. The one's in the MCLs Box were unreadable.
So thanks to all the above I have the HIDs mounted under the mirrors.
When I had the VFR, which these HID cannons were mounted to, I found that dropping to low beam was very disconcerting in heavy roo country. Eg Like St Lawrence to Sarina. An area I know well having lived in Clermont for twelve years doing the loop to Rocky, Mackay and home, fairly often riding the above section at night or very early morning.
And then flicking back to high beam, the HIDs took time to come to full power.
I notice that many of you have TWO sets of d/lights, and wonder if these are halogen or LEDs which I would think are probably better in areas where there is more oncoming traffic, giving you instant light on going back to high beam.
