Fuel filter

Has anyone used a non oem Honda fuel filter in there ST1100 if so what one fits

Havent need to yet, but I would just take it down to the local Repco and get em to match it up. (If you have it out that is.

Match up the size, and make sure it is a low pressure high flow filter.  Some of the car ones are for higher pressure EFI systems.

I use the efi ones as they are a much finer filter medium. Just went to the local parts shop and looked through a 'cattle dog' until I found one with the right size fittings. Not sure what it was off, think something small jap car. :bl11

I just ordered one from eBay, it was pretty cheap.  But I kept the old one so I can take it in to a car spares shop next time and see if they have one that would fit.
