Outside Temp Sensor Location?

Can any of the 1300 riders advise where the thermometer/temp (for outside temps) sensor is housed on the bike...as I want to put one on my 1100

The outside air temp sensor is located towards the front of the right inner cowl.  Rough location is depicted by the yellow circle

Don't bother going through the business of connecting it up. Just paint -2 on the dash and you won't be any the wiser.

Mine hit 42 and stopped I think it melted

Must admit a bit of brrrrrrrr would be nice sometimes although last years Border Run left Darwin in 34 and hit Ceduna after completing a SS3000 at brrrrrrrrrr didnt have enough layers...lesson learnt
