Just got home, after a fantastic weekend. Thank you to all who came.
Biggest Vic turnout so far. It was great to see

For some reason I didn't take many photos but I'm sure the rest of you can post all yours up.

The Pub was an amazing place. Thanks to Snapper for suggesting it, although I'd never heard of the place, It is now on my list for future rides. And as everyone suggested an annual overnighter.

The owners were a true characters, who I could have listened to their stories all night. And the fact they knew everyone but first name, made it that much more special.

Some "Easyriders" we followed for ages on the way there... until one of them dropped a numberplate and their support truck with trailer and them had to stop and collect it hahahaha

Thanks for a great weekend. Good ride  and great pub, alot of laughs were had. This is the type of country pub you read about. You couldn't ask for better hosts, Peter and Helen were great hosts. As you said Marcus I could of listened to Peter's stories for along time, and the soup. You have to have the soup it's so ##%*## good. (Saaz really enjoyed it)
Thanks also to Dickie for talking me into going. First time back on the bike after an opp, and it was a great feeling, thanks again mate :thumbs
Catch you guys out there  :blk13

Here are some initial informal phone photos, and now I have added proper camera photos.  When I get time I will post up a few with comments. On the way back I spent from Walwa to Holbrook in reasonably heavy fog, but fortunately the sun came out the rest of the way. I also had a police escort for the 20kms into Albury...

And yes the soup of the day was awesome!  Homemade vegetable soup this time, as good as my mum used to make.  And for $40 I got a room and a cooked breakfast (help yourself to eggs, sausages (which were really good, made in the town), bacon and toast.  The dinner menu had good choices and I think every meal was good  :thumbs

Woops!  In quoting AJs post bagging me about taking the bike to water to wash it, I modified his post rather than quoted it, then deleted it. Have to pay more attention to all these extra buttons on posts... :think1

I would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay if you are going through (say to Ballarat), or even staying awhile.  It is on my list of places to definitely go back to.

Ask for the special red wine though, as I always find that  :beer
