I'm a no-go for this one. My forks are leaking badly after hitting a pothole/depression in the road.  :|||| :cuss

 :blu13  Count me in on this one please Shiney. I've got a new Front tyre, so ready to do a round trip over Mt Glorious, round Wivenhoe, Esk, Killcoy, Mt Mee and home again. Hope the weather gods are kind.  :blu13left

That’s a great ride. Unfortunately 10AM on a Sunday is too early for us to get out to Esk. And besides we are living in a house full of COVID this week and regardless of the (IMO) arbitrary 7-day stipulation I wouldn’t be keen to pass it on.   Have a great time everyone.

Thanks Gary.

I picked it up while we were travelling up north, I gave it to Ruth, and one of us gave it to our daughter and our 7-month old grandson.  For each of us, we had a day or two of feeling 'a bit off'. In my case and Ruth's it was a scratchy throat, in Rachel's case it was the exacerbation of the sore muscles she earned from a gym workout the previous day.  Other than that we are all good. I'm still cautious about just how long we remain contagious so even beyond the stipulated 7 days we are keeping our distance from anyone that we care about (hey, I guess that includes you guys  :grin)

We have had sore throat mild cough. Joint and mussel ache for a few days  we are all feeling ok now will test when 7 days are up but plan on keeping to ourselves for a bit to make sure

I had a good ride out to Esk except for the L plated dirt bike rider popping a wheelie the length on the Ipswich Motorway onramp, and again on the highway.

Started at 17°C, and went up to 22 °C along the way, dropping back to 18 °C between Fernvale and Esk.

I arrived at 10:25 am to find 3 White ST1300s and a Blue Spyder already there.

Shiney, Carrol, Draco, Ros, NiftyNev and Brookester were in the car park catching up.

After a short while we headed over to the Bakery to catch up with WendyL.

Given WendyL's wounded wing, hugs were a little difficult, however it was great to catch up.

Carrol was sporting a heated vest which looks like a great idea.

We also found out Lionel and Alice were in Brisbane, so hopefully we can catch up this afternoon/evening.

Tim rocked after we'd eaten and were thinking of 2nd coffees.

After a couple of hours, it was time to  head home.

 :blu13 it was great to catch up with everyone and also meet some new people as well. (new for me).  I left a bit earlier to ride back past Somerset and then Kilcoy, Woodford and back home via Mt Mee. Arrived home around 2pm.  I always end up behind something going slow coming Mt Mee, this time it was a Cattle truck. Thankfully they took advantage of the slow vehicle lane half way up and I was able to go normal speed the rest of the way.  :tongue: Look forward catching up again at the next RTE. Cheers!  :blu13left
