I am going to have to replace my battery soon, and wonder if there might be any recommendations of good ones, or ones to avoid.
Cheers

I got batteries for both ST's at MX STORE, free delivery to home. SSB Powersports came with good CCA made a huge difference. Have run this brand in all my bikes for years

I've been running a SSB LFP14H-BS Ultralite Lithium Battery for the last couple of years...no issue whatsoever and it weighs heaps less than the original battery. :thumbs

That's a good price for a lithium battery.
I note one of their selling points is "PERFECT PERFORMANCE-still performs in extreme heat with temperatures over 60o C"
Melbourne and Tassie riders should be aware Li cells lose efficiency at low temperatures. Not a problem most of the time, but a vulnerability if the charge is low along with the temp.

Thanks Rusty.
Done and done, with a $20 off voucher to boot, instead of the $10. And an SA company, which is always my preference if possible (Got to buy local where I can).

Arrived yesterday and fitted today. It is a bit shorter than stock top to bottom, but comes with legs that clip into the bottom. Of course, they made it just a little too tall, but worked well as spacers lying on their sides underneath it- just perfect.
