The venue for today's RTE was the Caudo Vineyard in Cadell. I got lost looking for the place but eventually got there. The sign on the entrance said no motorbikes but we had our lunch without any drama.

We sat outside but the flies weren't annoying, which is rare for the Riverland. On the menu you had a choice of pizza or pizza. I went for the pizza, and like most of us opted to go halves with someone. The pizza was quite good though.

I had the Ozstoc flag but we didn't do a group photo of us in front of it. I got this photo of the bikes and one of Stinky Pete and Richo riding out.

The day started with me leaving in the dark. On the way to Balranald it was still dark when I arrived in Truro but not today. I stopped in my regular spot at Nuriootpa for a stretch of the legs and to empty the tanks.

I rode the Truro to Eudunda road for the first time today. That's a nice ride. This is some random house in Dutton. I spotted some derelict buildings too which I'll add to Williamson's derelict buildings thread one day.

I didn't ring, toot or knock.

That was on the Thiele Highway between Eudunda and Morgan, which I hadn't ridden since the day I hit the kangaroo in Bundey in 2015.
I crossed the Morgan ferry three times today. This was the first crossing.

Alan said something about the Cadell ferry being closed but the sign I saw said wednesday 1000-1400 so today should have been operating. I didn't use it, but I did use the Waikerie ferry today as well.
Silo art is everywhere these days. It looks like the parrot is on my shoulder.

I also had a look at Murbko and Brenda Park today. There was a sign in Morgan for a road saying 38km to Blanchetown so I chose to ride that home. It didn't mention that it turned to dirt half way down by which time I was committed so I rode it all the way through. The clouds were getting gloomy when I arrived at Blanchetown so I just rode the highway home.

A paltry 557 kilometres for the day. About 1200 short of 100'000 now.

For dinner I had more pizza.

Going by the profile on the bike sign, they probably mean chook chasers.

Same here. I rode past the police attending it and saw what I thought was a police car and a police motorcycle searching for someone who has run into the marshes. Now that I think about it, that wasn't a police motorcycle at all. Thoughts are with you Ian.

When I worked for Raging Thunder Adventures in Cairns we called the 14 seater Toyota Hiace buses chook chasers as they almost hit the chickens in the Toyota ads at the time.
