A few more attendees at Stone Hut today than there was at Mannum in april including one new face.  I didn't get a group photo out the front with the flag so I shall wait until Alan posts his.  Here are the few I did take.

It's not everyday you see a crocodile pie on the menu so that's what I had.

My ride to the venue started in the dark and even though it doesn't look it in this photo, it was dark when I took it in Manoora.

I was out this way to check out Farrell Flat as I had never been there before but ended up riding into Burra before that and refuelling.

I spotted this derelict building in Farrell Flat.

The locals however were more interested in what I was doing.

Next on the agenda was to take another look at Tesla's big battery at Hornsdale on the outskirts of Jamestown.  Whilst it is impossible to walk right up to, I did get closer to it today than I did at my first attempt last year.

From there it was off to Stone Hut via Boolooroo Centre and Murray Town.  I rode up to the top of the Stone Hut lookout but to be honest it wasn't that special.  I left with an obligatory selfie.

Not much deviation after lunch heading home via the Horrocks Highway.

Bring on the border run !!!

Better shots of the battery than I managed even with a 55-200 mm lens on the DSLR cam.

Manoora is about the half way point for us between home and Adelaide and we stop there most times on the way back.

We've done the Clare to Burra section a couple of times as part of the return route home instead of returning back via Jamestown

Thanks for the write up.

My camera is nothing special so I am surprised at the quality of some of the zoom shots from it.  The hard part is keeping it still long enough to focus properly, especially in yesterday's wind.

It was an awesome day for a ride.  I put the rain gear on for the return trip as "late showers" were forecast, but in the end it didn't start raining until about five minutes of parking the bike in the shed.
