A horrible ride over the pennines on the M62 road works rain and fog yuch but met Paul at Squires cafe, after a couple of coffees and a warm up we set off.
I know we ended up in Scarborough but Paul will have to fill the route in i just followed his lights.  :crazy

Stopped here for a smoke.

Paul went for a pee and came back with a fishing rod.  :fp

Bit choppy out there was going to have a paddle but Paul stopped me.

Had a great day cheers Paul but no more dirt tracks please not on the Wing.  Wot thuh

In the true ST bikers' tradition, they parked across the "Keep Clear" zone.   :eek

I notice you used the camera's flash to penetrate the weather.

The leaning tree on the peninsula below that hotel says it all!

Done the best i can it doesn't matter what the sky is like (it was grey sometimes black :fp) it whites out on the video. Next time on the Wing i'll have to mount the camera infront of the screen. The screen is really dificult to see through in the rain its coated in Rainx but still no good.
Vids a bit long but you can fastforward.  :p
At about 5 mins going round a roundabout the front wheel stepped out on me it doesn't look much on the vid but it didn't do much for my confidence riding in the wet.

Ah, true "hard man's" weather!   :thumb

Mind you, we're getting a bit of that here in Queensland lately (like nearly every day)  :'(

I can see the glitch on the roundabout- it's a horrible butt-clenching feeling.  You can get it just hitting a white line in the wet, especially on a zebra crossing.  Our hold on the road is so tenuous, it doesn't take much to compromise the wet grip.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
