Wonderful report Rob,

Riveting detail in your tale of the Tail of the Dragon. A bucket list entry 4 me.

What I wasn't clear about was whether u rode the tail in both directions. Also, did the hoons cause u any dangerous moments? How crowded was the run, ie, did u find yourself ahead of or approaching group riders?

Nicely done fotos as well. The video will be something special regardless of the sound quality - you could put in a backing track from Dragon - "Magic" would work:

as would many of other Dragon tracks. Only a suggestion as these things take enough time to produce in any case.

An absolutely rivetting read.  Can't wait to see the video and drool.

Thanks for sharing.  Probably one of the few reasons I would visit the States.  That and Route 66.

I've been struggling with missing CODECs from my PC and have only just managed to get some video editing done.... here's a quickie.... riding the Dragon at 120 mph.... there'll be another soon I hope.
