Well I just completed my first Border run and was on my way back home to Perth. Stopped at Southern Cross to fuel up and two boys in blue (and flouro and guns  ) where in the restaurant next minute they walked past and disappeared! I paid for the fuel and was heading out expecting to see their car. Nothing. Anyway I was cruising down the road and by mistake I was travelling at 120-125  and low and behold I past them hiding between some cars coming in the opposite direction and they immediately slowed down, pulled over and turned around. Oh well better be honest so I found a driveway and pulled over, took my gloves off, helmet off and ready to pull the wallet out. Here they come straight past laughing their heads off.  Put all the gear back on and started off again. This time I new they would be waiting down the road so I did 100kph exactly. Sure enough 10 ks down the road they were heading back and as soon as they saw me they started laughing again. So the moral I have taken from this is White is best and you can stick your other colours.

Bill, How right you are, I changed my bike with some vinyl checkering and its amazing how other vehicles now give me a wide berth, The police look at me,but i've not been pulled over yet.

And I also have a good laugh ( 2 line of blue diamonds) and get plenty of space when riding.
one annoying thing is riding on a standard road is the cage driver in front ASSume you are what you are not and SITS at least 5kph below the limit,  .

Yeah, I had a Police car driver coming the other way wave to me, and I was doing 120 at the time.  White rules!

Me too, only it was a cop on a Police Bike  Needless to say, I just waved back. I've actually had a few vehicles travelling in front of me pull over and stop to let me pass.  I must admit that there's been a few times that I wish I had the badge to go with the bike
