This is the 2018 RTE Calendar for NSW
This calendar still evolving - open to suggestions
January - 14th January . . First NSW member to suggest RTE Venue and post details.
February- 11.30 am Sunday 11th @ Robertson Pie Shop 4400 Illawarra Highway Robertson, NSW, 2577
March - Mill Tavern 17 March 2018
April - 22nd Grey Gums Cafe . . Putty Road 1130am
May - Mudgee overnighter . . 5-6 May
June - Old Brick Oven Bakery Rlystone 16th June 2018
July - Wisemans Ferry, Sat 21st July
August - Nat Rally Mackay QLD
September - The Tourist Hotel, Oberon, NSW, Sat 15th Sep 2018 12.30pm
October - Junee Licorice Factory, 20th Oct 2018 12 noon
November - Growlies Nambucca special ride 17th O/N Nambucca
December - Walcha Chrissy ride TBA
If anyone has any ideas or favourite RTEs (Day or O’niters) they would like to see on the 2018 RTE Calendar, please post to this thread your suggestions date and time would also be Helpful

So is anyone interested in going to any RTE’s in NSW or putting up some suggestions of destinations and timing?
If so, please enter in this thread and we’ll put it on the Official RTE Calendar.

If it's not too hot in February, I should be able to do the Robertson run, the Mill Tavern in March, and Grey Gums in April.
Cant do the Mudgee overnighter in May as I'll going to the Ulysses AGM then.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a RTE unless I have the actual date. For the two dates that we do have I cannot make either of them. I am in Walcha for the 11 Feb RTE and overseas for the Mudgee overnighter on 5-6 May. I am also away during all of September which will rule out the Oberon Bakery.
On a positive note, how about Walcha on Saturday 3 November? There are some great rides to get there. Lunch or overnight? I am happy with either but would prefer an overnighter for a more social and unrushed RTE. :beer

:think1 To lock it in, how about an overnighter and we meet at the Commercial Hotel Walcha on Saturday, 3 November, 2018 from 5:00PM onwards for dinner around 7:00PM?

There is plenty of accommodation in town if booked early (3 hotels and a couple of motels).

This pub has nice steak sandwiches and the best curly fries, Pokey may want to disagree.
Great twisty roads with some long sections to stretch your legs from which ever end you decide to ride in.
I intend to follow the coastal path on the way in leaving Sydney at around 7.30am and return the inland route.
I will need numbers so as to give them a heads up, they would prefer at least one weeks notice so they can set up a table for us.

Sorry to have to cancel at this late date, but can't do the Robertson pie shop RTE on this coming Sunday as I've been volunteered elsewhere that day :'(

As April is fast approaching a suggestion for the grey gum meet & greet . Sunday 8th or Sunday 22nd April
This a great sport and the last one there was pretty well attended.
Meet for lunch and a catch up with as many members who are able to attend

Grey Gums currently scheduled for April, but no date set as yet. Growly, does April suit and if so would you like to nominate a date pls? Not Easter or 14th (FarRide)
Other RTE dates will be sorted on return from Tasmania trip, but feel free to nominate RTE venues and dates and we can add/replce into calendar . .

Could make for a nice loop coming back via the Great Northern Road, one or two nice pubs over that way for a refreshment or two. :hatwave

I'll be returning from the FarRide east Nindigully Pub this weekend and will hopefully make this RTE on my way through, and I'll have the NSW/ACT flag for pictures to be taken. :grin

Hi all just a reminder re Mudgee o/n 5-6 may we have 3 van parks one is big 4 also many pubs,motels b&bs might pay to book early hope too see lots of members here for this one cheers joso

I cant do Mudgee coz Ill be doing Glendambo FarRide on the 5th May. I'll hand the NSW/ACT flag over to someone at Grey Gum next Sunday, if its needed for Mudgee and they post on the flag holder page they are now in possession of it, :thumbs

Unfortunately, I will now not be able to make either RTE. I have a grandson's birthday party on the Grey Gums ride day and I will be in China when the Mudgee ride is on. Ride safe everyone and I will catch up at a future RTE.

If it goes ahead I might try and get to it, although 10th/11th would suit me better. Combined with Harrow on the 17th/18th I could make it a tri-state trip.
