Yep. It's a metal mesh frame with wine corks wired all over the outside, but around the bottom it's starting to look a bit tatty from corks being knocked off.

... I remember first seeing it as a teenager, some 50 odd years ago!
I was on a bus from the city to Elizabeth to visit my sister, and its sort of 'in your face' when travelling on Main North Road.

The Big Dinosaur Ant at Poochera SA

This was a species of ant that was "rediscovered" in 1977 when an entomologist stopped on the side of the road for a piss. The species was thought to be extinct for 100 million years, but was found to be still living in western SA.
