Snowy Mountains 🤓

Well, yes.  But the Snowy Mountains is a mighty big area, I think something more specific would be appropriate.

The biggest one, Mount Kosciuszko?

Close (that's a relative term), in this case I'm approx. 11.5km from Mount Kosciuszko (as the crow flies) or 51km by road, and vertical separation is close to 1,800m.

So you want I should say
"Your bike is in the foreground of a photo of an item unusual enough to spike the interest of those participating in the "Where is this- game", namely Mount Kosciuszko?"     :wink1

Saw that on the way to the 2015 AGM at Toowoomba, or could've been the 2016 ride to the Sunshine Coast.  But, dang, don't remember where, might go back through some pics and see if it helps.

I suppose I better explain.......

This may seem easy, but let's see.

Snowy Mountains 🤓

Snowy Mountains 🤓

Well, yes.  But the Snowy Mountains is a mighty big area, I think something more specific would be appropriate.

This is technically correct, but so would NSW or AUS, so my reasoning was that something more specific was in order.

The biggest one, Mount Kosciuszko?

Technically correct too, but that's what's in the background, not where the Mighty ST1300 is parked.

The biggest one, Mount Kosciuszko?

Close (that's a relative term), in this case I'm approx. 11.5km from Mount Kosciuszko (as the crow flies) or 51km by road, and vertical separation is close to 1,800m.

Not necessarily.  As said above, Mt Kossie is in the background, some 11km away.  The Mighty ST could be a different suburb, locality or even State.  The latter is not actually the case in this instance, but that would be an achievement, so who's gunna be the first with that pic?

Anyway in this case , the Mighty ST1300 is at Geehi, NSW.  Perhaps I was being a bit too testical.

Williamson and I have had a chat on PM yesterday and reached an understanding.
I believe the spirit of the game is to identify the feature in the photo.
Hence a photo of Sydney Harbour Bridge couldn't be called "The Rocks" or "Luna Park".

A bit obscure ......

Sitting on the deck of the local pub, enjoying a beer or three with the the publican, he advised that this was the larger than Ayers Rock / Uluru.  Mmmm...if that hint does not help, perhaps some triangulation will.

Good luck!

Good skills Kev, you may need to tell the masses how did it.  And where it is.

Well, seeing as Kev has worked it out, I think the baton should be passed to Kev.

I don't have any location pics with my bike in it, so I will respectfully pass back to you, Michael

For those who missed the location, its the Corryong Hotel on the Murray Valley Hwy, about 120 Km east of Wodonga.

I went up onto that mountain on a borrowed dirt bike in.... mmmm ... 1989? and I recognised the profile pic that you posted.
