Rear Caliper 2 vs 3 piston unit
« on: May 08, 2015, 09:35:21 AM »
Can an ABS 3 piston caliper be used to replace a 2 piston caliper on the rear?
I note the ABS 3 piston unit has 2 banjo connectors so not sure what the porting internally is doing.
Any help will be appreciated.

First the 1996 and newer ABS rear disc (so are the front) is slightly larger
Second the thee pot callipers are there for the CBS (Combine Brakes) system.

This will give you an idea of how
