PSR ST1300 & ST1100 HIGHWAY BLADES
« on: September 28, 2018, 03:22:35 PM »
Copied this over from an other ST/Pan site on Facebook.

Here's the official ordering queue to 'pre-order' the PSR ST1300 HIGHWAY BLADES https://psr-usa.com/st1300-02-13-highway-blade-black.html

Here's the official ordering queue to 'pre-order' the PSR ST1100 HIGHWAY BLADES http://psr-usa.com/st1100-90-02-highway-blade-black.html#.W64winIUmUk

PSR ST Blades will include: hand drawn paper templates to trace and cut your stock plastic crash bar covers, black anodized left and right clamps, left and right blades, and stainless hardware.

No credit cards will be charged until the product is ready to ship on or before December 15, 2018. Pre-order price will be $249.95 for a complete set, and $279.95 afterwards. Including free shipping within 48 US States. International shipping costs will be based on actual postage costs.

I need all of your help in spreading the words on our ST Blades Pre-Ordering to help me gauge the actual demands for them. If the demands aren't high enough, it may be a one time production for us and will leave it at that. As I don't know when the next window of opportunity will be for me to schedule future productions when I have so many other projects in the pipeline.
 thanks!

If you wist to order please go here https://psr-usa.com/st1300-02-13-highway-blade-black.html

Maybe one of the global moderators could change the topic to include the 1100

Just found out that there will also be a run made for the 1100. Same deal as the 1300 offer.

Not quite

1300 PSR - 03-02401-22 PU - WPS - TR -

1100 PSR - 03-02400-22 PU - WPS - TR -

I think the bar is the same/similar but the mounting hardware would be different.

I have gone to order and set up an account but there is no option for Anywhere apart USA or Canada.. I know this was spoken about in one of the posts. So hopefully this will be rectified.. the other option I guess is to use a parcel forwarding company.

A couple of responses to the messages I sent https://www.facebook.com/charlie.hon

That’s a great idea! We are fixing to unlock countries to place order in the site.

I think it’d be easier to communicate directly with me here for the bulk order
--------------------

We just placed test orders with oz address and credit cards on the site with no problem.

Will look into PayPal ordering issues on the site Monday.
---------------

The down side of a bulk order is going over $AUD1000 will attract customs duties on top of any GST that maybe payable.

Have no idea as I'm not ordering but one of his posts on Facebook mentions RH blades in the process of being done

The post is a closed group (like ours) but I've taken a screen shot.

Status pending is because he needs to get so many orders up to reduce the costing. If I understand him correctly this could be just a one off production run depending on orders world wide.

I was of the understanding that even the $1000 threshold has been deleted.  So aren't all international orders now subject to import and GST considerations?

All my recent purchases via ebay etc are all incurring GST.  My last US purchase after changes in laws, was over the threshold so cant be sure if the $1000 dollar limit still applies, on a private import.

Since the new GST laws came in I have bought goods direct from Partzilla in the US and nothing extra charged.

Not everything on eBay has GST added and it seems to just apply to overseas transactions. Local sellers would be exempt as GST would be included in the price.

Quote
From 1 July 2018, goods with a customs value of AUD1000 or less (low value goods) may attract the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the point of sale if imported from overseas by consumers in Australia.
There will be no changes to:
•the AUD1000 threshold for reporting and collection of duties and taxes at the border

  https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/busi/cargo-support-trade-and-goods/importing-goods/duty-rates-and-taxes/low-

All the political speak about a GST free $1000 limit on imports was just pure nonsense. They just saw customs duty as being the same as GST when it's not.

Hi Alan, just a FYI posted on ST-Owners.com

“status update:
Added an extra threaded hole by the tip of the blades for the kicktab.  Now you have two kicktab locations to utilize.  Thanks to Michael for the suggestion!

Did I mentioned the blade production is completed?  Yep!  We’ve been working late nights and weekends.

Going to anodizer Monday.  I’ll be attending EICMA motorcycle show in Italy and be back Nov 11. If everything goes well, we are looking to ship 1st ever PSR highway blades November 20th or sooner.

With that said, “Pre-Order pricing” offer will be turned off when the blades are shipping.  Please place your order ASAP before the offer is gone permanently.

Thanks!

Charlie”

The ST110 Highway Blades from PSR-USA arrived today.

Interestingly there is no instructions at all.
No paper template for cutting out the side crash bar plastic covers.
When I look at the blade itself there is on the underside close to the pivot point 2 small indents a nominal 90 dregrees's shifted with a track between them.  Perfect for a spring loaded ball to provide feel and a slight snap into position.  If only they had a spring loaded ball that would locate on the mounting bracket, to utilize the indents.

Quality looks great.  It would be nice to have instructions just to be sure you have it assembled correctly.

For the money ... I sort of expect instructions and the template they offered.

I sent a message on Facebook to the person concerned.

His response was that the instructions/template where for the ST1300 and not the ST1100.

:Stirpot  I guess 1100 owners can work it out but 1300 owners need help.

Another Message from Charlie,

Hi Alan,
I just got off ozstoc site and realized the “reposting” of our blades for the ST1100 were omitted.  The part regarding no cut out template for the ST1100.

Also, the installation instruction was posted on PSR-USA.com and the video here https://youtu.be/5Ir06S_s1B0

It was announced on ST-owners.com and ST groups on FB.

Would you mind copy and paste the above for me on OZSTOC?

Thank you!

I saw these on A2Z's ST1300 at Walcha, and they certainly look very good, and integrate into the line of the bike very nicely.
