That's pretty scary, and a good reminder to use proper rated attachments when recovering or towing.

Well yeah that was my thought too.  I'm sure that safe recovery techniques don't involve flooring the throttle before you've taken up the slack.

The vid wasnt about safe recovery, but was trying to show what happens when the towball lets go. Who knows what stresses a towbar has been under over the years, I dont want to have a cannon ball launched at me
