I don't think I can do that on mine, but I've got right angle valves on mine now so it's no longer a problem.

I always wondered what those holes were for.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

I thought that's where you put the transmission oil in...    :crazy
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Ingenious I thought , Saw this just minutes after pumping up the tyres for tomorrows ride. Go back outside and look at my'96 11 and no holes to fit the air hose through.
Bugger, I'll just continue to bend the valve stem sideways till I bugger it and then I will get one on those right angle valve stem thingemeys.

Never thought of that but a great idea
But I've got right angle valve stems so don't need to do it

The big question to Marcus is, "What can you do with the holes in the mufflers?"  :nahnah
