Our APC's were known as a troop. This group is more like F Troop. How about F STroop?

I go for STamp of ST's
as in STamping our authority and easy to convert to STampede when the throttles get opened.

     a STable of STeeds;

But when let loose upon the highway they are:

    a STampede of STallions.
