Music to be astride your ride ??
« on: January 06, 2013, 09:27:26 PM »
So with a few longer distance rides on the calander for us this year I thought it timely to update the tunes on the iPhone for on the cycle. This got me to a thinking !! What's on others essential music to ride by play lists ???

There may be a great song, album, band that may not have been considered by yourself just waiting for an outing on the bike with you.

Here's a few tunes a little out of the mainstream of music that get my spirited riding ambitions mixed up with my abilities....

Faster....by Within Temptation
I like the way...by The Bodyrockers
Get me Outta here.... by Jet (good Aussie band)
Cold Ethel....Mr Alice Cooper (on the play list cause SWMBO hates him)
Joker and the Theif....Wolfmother
Spirt in the Sky....Norman Greenbaum.

We all have the traditional AC/DC tunes etc.....(vintage depending) so what obscure tunes Float your Boat when biking ???

Cheers

Chris

Spirit in the sky I remember as it was in the Top 40 about 1970 or so.

Well, AC/DC.......I must be the only person in Oz that doesn't have any of their tracks. Actually I don't really have to much of anything that's Australian except Kylie.

So I'll go with;-

Credence (CCR) Cosmo's Factory Album and their Chronicle Album.
Might even do a mix of Trance or anything with a similar high energy dance beat and toss in a bit of Chuck Berry, Bill Haley Blue Bros etc. After the last few months I might add a few tracks from some of the Kpop girl groups.

Even though I might load my phone up with music I might not even listen to it on the move........but it's there if I want it.

Alan, Ya can't use Credence and Kylie in the same sentence yet alone the same post.

It's like trying to put Magnetic North and Magnetic South together.... Their Poles apart..
