I'm really looking forward to this. :runyay

I was going to reprogram my CB to Narrowband.  Set up the program and made all the changes in the software, and do you think I can find my programming cable.  I know it is here somewhere. Anyway it works, and I'm hoping to have mine scanning 13, 18, 29 and 40.  I hope I find the cable before Thursday morning.

I'm planning on heading down Thursday so I can rest Friday, before the big day.

Did anyone else get an IBA email today?
There were a few that I am aware of. :thumbs

So what's this email??
Or don't you get one if you've already got an IBA number from previous rides?

Even better, at least some small parts from my ST1100 will be making the ride, even though I am leaving her in the shed. Makes me feel slightly less guilty.... :'(

Feeling humbled about having parts of her along for the ride whilst we make History for OzSToc on the first of hopefully many more OzSToc IBA rides.  o:)

Thanks for the answers about the IBA email.  I won;t use the number until I've completed it.

I took one last look for my programming cable for my UHF CB and found it!  :runyay

Reprogrammed the radio to narrowband so now all the channels sound louder.

What will I wear, an OzSTOC shirt of course, some denim Jeans with Kevlar, my trusty TCX boots and my Shoei Helmet, Dri-rider Gloves, Flouro vest and a great big cheesy :grin all the way.
Cheers,
Gary

Friday after work for me.
Clothing?  OZSTOC shirt and the usual.  Pretty much like a coffee run or RTE.  Shouldn't get too cold in the wee small hours, but might pack a cardigan JIC.      :thumbs

Just a reminder to ensure you have enough credit on your Toll Tag (Go Via, QLD Motorways etc) for the Toll roads in Sydney or have prepaid before heading off.  Afterwards it is easy to forget.

Light vehicles is $10.75 each way on the MR + M7

I have just checked the weather forecast, and all looks well enough. There will be low minimums between Goulburn through Yass towards Gundagai (always colder than when leaving Canberra), but the ride plan has us hitting that area later in the morning so all should be good. Should be perfect comfortable riding weather.  The possible showers in Coffs on Saturday should not be a worry.
