Accommodation booked and confirmed for Friday and Saturday nights at the Hotel. Tipto not able to attend as undergoing an operation leading up to that weekend.

Yet to determine my mode of transport, but given temperatures, probably in the nice warm SUV.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

If the weather is absolutely foul, a nice warm SUV might be our mode of transport too.  I was looking forward to our first outing of the new ST1300, but I think Helen will have a say in it.

Looking a bit tidier than when inspected pre-purchase, and when Russ took it for a test ride.  We had discussed how poorly the seller presented it for sale, knew it would scrub-up, and it's nearly there.

What did you end up using on the black plastics?

Hmmm, that seat looks a bit familiar!  :whistle

As we're just going for the day it will be a nice warm car for us too (regardless of the weather) as Sue can't handle 500 plus k's on the back of the mighty ST...  :-[

Not as funny as they way you spell "I'll be coming to the RTE and see you all Saturday".

Back home around 1:00pm.  Nice ride to Mansfield, bike went well (really as expected), bit damp on the way home today.

High Country Holiday Park and Mansfield overall ticks all of the boxes.  Helen and I had a nice modern, motel style cabin with under cover parking for a smidge over $130, short walk to the pubs, great meal at the Delatite (we've had a good meal on an RTE to the Mansfield hotel previously).   Rooms at the Delatite for around $75 per head.

Thanks to all for attending, especially Wendy (for 1st VIC RTE), and Johnny (who snuck into our State) and STroppy (likewise) - another border security fail.

Some pics to be posted, by me and others, later.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

No ride report from me this time as Sue & I went in the car.  :-[
A big thanks to all that attended, especially those from interstate...  :clap
And more thanks must go to Michael for organising yet another successful RTE.  :beer

Here are a few pics...

Apologies for no pics of all the bikes outside the pub...I figured it may have been a touch embarrassing to see just two...  :whistle  :rofl

Here are a few pics...

Thank Russell.

And a couple from me.

Now with Mansfield RTE done & dusted, standby for details on the June RTE - looks like it'll be at the Courthouse Hotel at Ararat - coming soon.

In the meantime, the Delatite Hotel and the High Country Holiday Park are both recommended destinations.  Food at the Delatite is very good, the service even better.  Standard of accommodation at the High Country very good, make sure you book a cabin with a carport.

Coffee at Yea very good (if you go the Just Great Coffee shop)  met a nice bloke, Leo whilst having the coffee, lives outta town, down Upper Ti Tree Road.  An interesting and spritely 85 yo who told us about a Brumby he captured and trained best horse ever, there's a painting of the horse at the Australian War Memorial at Canberra, used for some exhibit.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)
