That's said we don't speak English at home and my wife doesn't watch local tv so she doesn't know the "but wait, there's more" phrase. She does have the knack of striking up such 'conversations' just as I am about to go to bed. It used to be as I was leaving the house but these days I get out before everyin gets out of bed. For that, I love early starts.

That sort of commercialised doesn't show up on any of our cable TIVI channels in Sai Gon either - - - nor on the 'free to air' channels either !

The government doesn't tolerate any form of competition !

Besides, the politicians are (mostly) honest in Viet Nam - - - they have to be !!!

They get arrested, tried in open courts, then shot straight afterwards if any of them caught cheating or lying to the people !!!

That would get rid of a whole load of useless, lying, self-serving pollies and their mates, as well as all the 'greenies'

Something Oz should REALLY think of doing !!!

Had no phonecalls between midday yesterday and 1am this morning ... then I get a call at 5.27 am. (Yawn!)

Some bloke in Adelaide dialled a wrong number. He was a bit rude, like it was my fault that he mis-dialled?

So I called him back a couple minutes ago, to enquire if he contacted the right person yet?

Line was busy, so I will redial again around 6am, and then hang up.
