A little bit of excitement in the unit below my sister's. After our WA RTE visit yesterday we get to see a police car parked in our temp car space. A couple hours a knock on the door and it seems the guy living down below has gone missing. They asked my sis a few questions and again this morning. Forensics have been here all day plus the usual assortment of police personnel as well. Looks like another couple of officers will be keeping an eye on the place overnight. They arrested a guy this morning as he had the keys to the unit and was using the missing guys car.

Channel 7 news hanging around as well so might have something on there tonight.

As an update to this:-

The missing guy had been murdered with the suspected killer in custody. A little excitement before leaving for our trip back home.

Near as I can figure, Biggles has covered around 1600 Km from Nuriootpa and now at Boggabilla.

Good run for 19 hours ride. Still around 400Km and 4 and a half hours or so until he arrives home.

Lost an hour 20 km west of Broken Hill due strong headwinds (and wrist) running me out of petrol. There are several signs approaching Cockburn on the border declaring all facilities available including fuel. The pump looks like it hasn't worked for 20 years, but apparently it's only 3 years.

I wasn't planning to use it, but it would have saved me an RACQ (i.e. NRMA) call-out. Ride Report when I get through the 227 emails and demands for money that accumulated in one week.

The SPOT is set for the owner's standard time, and doesn't change. When the guys ride the IBA Rally in the States, we pick their anonymous SPOTs by their time zone (usually EST).
