Black Dog Ride
« on: March 15, 2013, 06:42:47 PM »
This ride is on 24th March, Dardanup 8am, then on to Nannup and finally Bunbury for lunch on the jetty.

Is anyone else going to accompany me?, JohnoJ may be a starter depending on haw he pulls up after the trip back across the paddock.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"

I'm doing the Black Dog, but the one that starts at Helensvale in QLD, goes over Mt Tambourine, then down to Beaudesert and across to Boonah. Who is doing the QLD one???  :rockon
Cheers,

Attended BDR with Ray and JohnoJ, approx half dozen cards wre handed out, definately 1 newbie in Shane.

Organization was below average, on arrival marshalls directing where to park, on departure it was a raffle, without tickets, around 600 bikes, we pulled out after 60k because all these riders and pillions went to Nannup for coffee and it was evident they would not get out until late (Ray worked out 1 coffee would have to be made every 3 seconds if an hour was allowed), at 1130 we went to Donnybrook for lunch, then a leasurely ride home. I covered 717k.

On the plus side it was great riding weather.
