As registrations for Mudgee are closed, and as I didn't want too much Mansfield talk to distract people from Mudgee, I now present a comprehensive update on Mansfield 2024.
Garry (ppopeye) and I visited Mansfield last week, chatted to the High Country Holiday Park Manager (Jude - a very nice lady), and can confirm the following:
• All cabins and some caravan sites are on-hold (some sites released already for the public) for OzSTOC until Thursday 12 October, 2023.
• Only one Deluxe Studio Cabin (with under cover parking) unit left.
• There are still 14 cabins of various standard (standard, deluxe, old, new), and a 3 bedroom / 6 bed cottage still available.
• There 30 powered sites and 5 unpowered sites at the park.
• We have use of the Camp Kitchen for the Friday meet & greet, not exclusive as it may need to be shared with other Holiday Park guests.
This all means that we have more than the basics of very good site to use a the base for the NatRally.
If you want to secure yourselves a cabin or a camping site you have 3 weeks left to book, after Thursday 12 October, the HCHP will be taking bookings from the general public.
When booking, book direct to receive the OzSTOC discount you must mention OzSTOC, the discount does not apply if you book through Booking.com or Last Minute Deals, etc...
Saturday Evening Dinner - a venue has been booked, we have a private dining room (holds 60 plus), a normal pub à la carte menu, as well as the senior's menu - that should suit many of us.
Again, more than the basics.
So come on all, now that it clear between now and March 2024, it's time for more to make a commitment - although as indicated in the previous post, if you have a change of circumstances, HCHP will provide a full refund if you cancel more that 7 days prior to your booking - can't get much better than that, perhaps that's something a certain Big4 that could learn.
