Condition, condition, condition.
Pics, pics, pics, ie. at least three, but more would be better, the more the better.
And location, if it's in Meekathara, Bourke or the like, demand will be low, and asking proice might need to be low.

Condition is reflected in Kms travelled, but it has been looked after. Bike is located in La Trobe valley. Pictures next week!

Hi Rex, someone in the know, such as yourself, would say that its only just run in at 265K but the majority would say way way way too many k`s.
That 1300 I bought in Sydney, ( Norm`s ) had 210K with Full history and was sweet as a nut. $500 That was his trade in value on a new bike.
To me $500 would be fair and real, but it would need to be registered still, so a few dollars are for minor repairs. RWC etc.
Any one looking for a good cheap bike, could do a lot worse, especially if its been looked after as well as you say.
Having said that, I don`t want another bike :eek

Thanks Nigel. I think you are right but he is expecting more.

With that many k’s more might be a very low number. Its hard to value but lower km models dont bring a lot now.

I paid $1200 for 2003 Police Model with less than 100000km, so they need to be realistic. They would probably make more parting it out. I know of someone that parted there's out 2002 ABS (Non Police version) with less than 35000km on clock and they made more than there original asking price of $4500. They still haven't sold every part, still hasn't sold engine yet even.

So I had a chat to the owner. 1995 WineberryRed, NonABS, still got reg but can go on red plates. Keen to sell!! $2600 with RWC, $2300 without. If you are interested let me know. He will not take a superlow offer.

What are red plates?
