spanners SS1600 ride report - 2015
« on: October 11, 2015, 07:06:52 PM »
hope this is not too wordy and actually works

***Edit notes***

As pointed out in the Far Riders forum I had not actually completed this ride as my original report stated it happened in NOVEMBER!!!   :fp :fp :fp  :|||| :||||  :CB-- :CB-- :CB-- :fp I am Dyslexic (really) and even got my partner to proofread it and she didn't even pick up on the fact that it happened in SEPTEMBER!

I have adjusted the report to refl;ect this but nothing else has changed.

What a great write up Spanner, I enjoyed that read and the photo's.  What a smile on your dial, it says it all.

Mate, after you submit the ride and the verification goes in your favour, with your IBA number log into the IBA Australia forum and post this report up there.  I am sure there will be a few riders around that will enjoy this report.  :thumbs

Thanks. That is the tablet I'm using. It didn't give me word as an option. I'll find out where it downloaded to and open it with word.
Cheers,

Go to the googoo appstore and install WPS office. It will open the file (after you download it) also good for excel and powerpoint files. Even the .docx files work

Thanks Brock. I was trying to open it from Tapatalk and couldn't work out where it was downloading to.
Opened the forum in Chrome and the it opened.

Wow,what an effort.

I'm curious to know what was wrong with the steering.
Cheers,
Gary

Brilliant account!!  I nearly wet myself when I read:

"Karma should have been kind to me right?
Karma can go and f**k off!  It shat all over me along the way!"

Brave words there!  I'm sure Karma will remember that comment!    :grin

I already had a tear in my eye reading your generosity at giving away half your food.
You'll have to tell us what goes into a Magic Salad (apart from love).

Now you've done the SS2000 you know it isn't always that bad.  But it sure helps to be resourceful and have some true grit.    :thumbs

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

It is a Word .docx format but to be more specific it's Word 2007 and newer. Older versions of Word use .doc so I had to download the compatibility pack to open it in Word 2000.
