gremlins or something
« on: January 20, 2013, 09:27:22 PM »
over the last month i have had a few dramas. 5 holes in the rear tyre.  A bird smashed the left morror pod. That was repairable. Then another 2 holes in the tyre, time to call it quits at 22,000k's, pity as i could have got another 2k out of it. Then the thing to make me wonder if i am cursed. A smashed screen. If the bike had beeen naked i would have breken ribs.

Hmm do we have to get the OzSTOC shaman to come and do a purifying blessing on the bike maybe? The motorcycling gods can be a fickle bunch if your not careful....

Paul, you may need a holiday.  I have never seen a smashed screen like that. Perhaps you are actually lucky, not cursed???

Paul the glass was actually half full  :thumbs no broken ribs  :thumb (they arent fun).
Think positive you have used up all your flat tyres for a long time and the screen can be replaced  :beer

You didn't say what hit your screen, Paul.
A Pelican?  Flamingo?  Wedgetail?  Penguin?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Yep but shannons won't insure me because my bike is not kept in a locked shed.

omg, Paul, at least now you know how to handle a flat tyre, I'd just stress out, take 10hours to fix it and sulk for a week. that's amazing on the screen, but the guys are right, better it than you.

Rob.
