This morning on Old Gympie Rd in Kallangur a :wht13 with 3M Flouro Yellow on the front, headed North.

I was in the Silver Golf and waved enthusiastically. Not sure if I got a nod, or if they were checking their rear mirror.
Cheers,
Gary

Awesome white 13 headed back from Sandgate, carrying Mr and Mrs Shiney :-)
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

This morning heading North on the Bruce Highway just south of the Deception Bay Road overpass and roadworks, a ST1300 which looked a lot like Ruby Tuesday.

I wound down the window and waved just before they overtook me.

I saw JB on the South Eastern Freeway around Crafers this morning.  I think I saw him again on Grenfell Street, minus one ST.

Not an ST, but an OzSTOC'r on a Kwaka Versys

Bodø turning from Greenhill Road to head up Glen Osmond on Tuesday in his split shift for work.

Most days I make that trek twice.  Split shifts suck, but I come home more relaxed than I did from busways.

I saw two norposes, aVersys and an 1100 on Greenhill Road, Greenhill at 1102 this morning.  Then at 1112 when I was stopped at the  Summertown timing point a 1300 whizzed past. I'm sure it was Langers.

Well spotted Bodo. After having discovered just how good the Angaston-Swan Reach section of the Stott Highway was after Sunday's RTE, I decided to ride it again with a mate (Blue BMW R1200RT), starting with Greenhill Road from the Glynburn/Greenhill roundabout to Uraidla, Basket Range Rd to Lobethal, Mt Torrens, Mt Pleasant, Cambrai, Sedan, Keyneton, Springton, Williamstown, Kersbrook, Cuddlee Creek, Lenswood, Swamp Rd to Balhannah, Hahndorf, freeway and home. 250kms total and some of the best roads we have in the hills.

The stretch between Sedan and Swan Reach is the only place I have ever hit a 'roo, and I have got two in the last five years. It is a nice bit of road, but be extra vigilant for that 30-odd kms.

Wombats are also prevalent.

That does sound like a fun ride, Mark. I do miss those hills roads sometimes, but they are bit busier now than they were when I was riding them regularly.

Saw the blue beemer as well.  Wasn't sure if he was with you or just had been riding the same road.  Had I have known you were coming camera would have been ready.

Yesterday 12:45 pm, Sat 2 Oct I spotted a cherry red ST1300 heading south 2 up along the eastern service road at Narangba.

The rider was wearing cam trousers.

We were heading south on the highway, so couldn't wave.

A very nice, clean and shiney looking ST.

Sunday 10th October around 10.25, blue ST1100 with sidecar between Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay. May have been part of a larger group of bikes, including trikes and sidecars, that we passed earlier.

Not a visual sighting, but yesterday's Conversations with Sarah Kanowski on ABC was with Roland De Chazal, an 81-year-old motorbike postie on Magnetic Island.

Apart from the postie bike, his "STeed" is an ST1100.

There is one Roland on this site, but he's not active.

The link to the interview is here:

I'm pretty sure I've posted that elsewhere on the forum, Shillas... :thumb

May have been just a story on him though...  :think1
