Title: FarRide East #35 30 May 2015

I have just booked a room to stay overnight on 30 May. I know Spanner is down to go as well as JC. Anyone else?  I had better register and check the rider list. It was a great ride and time two years ago, so well worth doing for the views alone.

I'm registered, but planning to head south after lunch.  The last one at Eungella was my first FarRide and I wasn't aware of the photo afterwards and got going fairly quickly, missing out on it.  I was headed for Rocky having left there in the morning.  I've done a bit of FarRiding since and am used to covering a bit more distance.

I am trying my luck for this one. There has been a lot of great advice from Members of places to visit and get a feed that I was not aware of last time - would love to give some of them a go.


Went up for brekky on the water at Airlie Beach on the way home last time - TERRIFIC!

I'm waiting till last minute to decide   :think1  depending how new meds react/settle. I have a cousin at Cape Hillsborough  to STay with.  :thumb so I WANT to go   :OldMan

I am registered for this one, and Teela is coming to get her Pillion FR number.

We will be going to Blackwater from toowoomba to have the night with Teela's Brother on Friday night, then it is up the road for check and lunch, and we will work out our plans from there, not totally sure yet

I have a plan (at least to get up there)

Canberra to Walgett on Thursday (680kms) to get within striking distance of a start. Then Walgett to St George (300kms) for a starting docket after 12 noon. Then on to Emerald (598kms)for the night. And a leisurely ride to Eungella in the morning (432kms).  Staying the night there.

Will plan a return leg on the way, have to be back by Tuesday night.

After Streak and Teela check in tomorrow be sure to ask about 2 things.....

It is a short while now...I haven't set up photo bucket for travelling as yet
