I did mine at 150k and got the gates belt through my parts friends in Victoria Point for about $45 au
I Just gave them the # and 3 days later yippee.. o:)
Fitted it myself,
It made quite a difference to the sound and performance of the bike due to that stretching problem,
now if I could just stop the tummy stretching ,,, >:() :whistle :whistle :whistle :whistle

I have changed a couple of timing belts on the ST11.  Even one that was well over the change distance looked ok, just a bit stiffer than the replacement one.  There is a fair safety margin with the advised replacement period.  Interesting that no time period is given.
