Will I get notifications of everyone's posts?

Yes.
Once registered, when you log in, next to your personal welcome are 2 links:

"Show unread posts since last visit" and
"Show new replies to your posts"

They are fairly self explanatory, and also offer a quick way of keeping up to date and not missing out on anything.

Once you comment or reply to someone's post (or even start one yourself), you are automatically sent an email letting you know that someone else has left a reply or comment each time this occurs, so you don't miss out. You can turn this function off as well if you don't want to know about any further posts.

Lastly, these boards and comments last a lot longer than the previous one, so notices and topics don't disappear from direct view as quickly.
