Laminar lip arrived & fitted

Hi all,

After much umming, ahhing, tooing & froing, I fitted my laminar lip; I'm worried I've not got the position correct though.

I followed the instructions, and watched a youtube video that was more of a review than instructional, and finally mounted it following the guidelines of about 1-2in spaced out from the screen and about 1/3 of the height of the lip above the screen height,  however nowhere really says whether or not to follow the curvature of the screen, or to mount it straight upright??

Having gone for a ride it felt like a different bike with the buffeting heavily reduced although not eliminated, however I'm open to others experience and mounting positions.
